I am an out-of-stater from California and so I have spent most of my freshman year plotting how to get the hell out here. But now I love it. I would reccommend to anyone to go to an out of state school. It is such an amazing experience to get away from the only thing you know and grow. Texas is what college life is cracked up to be. Regardless of what kind of group you want to hang with, they have them all here. I reccommend living on campus your first year, I didn't and I so wish I did because you can meet so many more people. UT is great—Hook'em!
