Like any univerity, there are imperfections, but in reality, Alverno is unlike other universities for a reason. The ability-based curriculum is unlike others because it really focuses on rewarding you for progress and growth, and making sure you get there. As a result of living and going to school at Alverno, I have friends in 3 continents and would not trade it for anything.
