I was a dual degree master's student in USC's College of Social Work and the Norman J. Arnold School of Public Health. It was a long, hard, three years, but once I get a good job, I think it'll be worth it. I learned a lot, had some great professors, and met my future spouse… all while enduring massive state budget cuts, the lowering of the Confederate Flag from the Statehouse dome, and stifling summer heat.
