Hi, I heard the surroundings around the campus can get pretty dangerous. I've read people getting mugged quite often.. how's the campus security? love to hear more from you! |
Hi, I would love it if you sent me an email so you could tell me more about Clark. I visited campus less than a week ago. Everything looked incredible and the library was amazing, but I got an impersonal feeling from everyone. They had a student interview me instead of an administrator. (But a day after I got home, I got an email from a woman saying that she wanted to interview me and that she was coming to MY hometown which in Baltimore, MD. Yeah, long drive.) So I don't really know what that means. If you could tell me more, I'd be forever in your debt. I only just found this site and most of the places I had high hopes for were poorly rated. As a matter of fact, my first choice school apparently is HORRIBLE. So please, contact me at _email_removed_ |

Hi! Thanks for your post. I'm currently looking at a lot of colleges, and attempting to narrow my list down. Recently, I was contacted by a coach of one of the teams at Clark. What are the athletics like there? Do many people participate? Also, when the other reviewers said this was for the people who did not have a group in highschool, what did they mean? People who were friends with multiple cliques, or people who didn't fit in at all? I'm pretty attracted to this school, due to the international development major, and I'd love to have more information! Thanks! |

I truly can't imagine being anywhere else. I think that the best part about Clark is its people. There is an atmosphere here that you can only understand if you come and visit the campus. There is no such thing as a typical clarkie. I feel like I have learned as much from the people here as I have from my courses. The campus is small, somewhere around 1800 undergrads, which means smaller classes and a closer community. There are lots of things to get involved in on campus (for example I am a member of dance society, I am on a student-trustee board, I play intramural sports, and am going to be a peer advisor for new clarkies next year), and Clark takes pride in helping the Worcester community. We are a liberal arts school, but we are also a research univeristy. We have a wide range of majors and also have a program to help freshmen who are undecided. What's not so great about Clark? Worcester can be a little intimidating at times. Parts of the city are run down, and sometimes it takes a little creativity to find things to do in the city. The food is less than ideal. Clark is not what you would call a party school. We have no greek life, but you will find a party somewhere on Friday and Saturday nights. If anyone has any questions about clark please send me an email, I would love to say more. I am a sophomore a Clark.
