Although Penn State is one of the largest schools, somehow, no one gets lost in the crowd. People are very friendly and teachers are helpful. Just one point of advice so that you don't get lost on the shuffle: find an advisor in your department and they will help you out. Ask questions, visit your teachers, make friends, and you'll get the most out of what the Penn State experience is supposed to be.
