Oklahoma State University is a great place to attend college. However it can be a lot to adjust to if you are from a metropolitan area living in a suburb. People in Stillwater are very friendly and caring towards the Univesity. There is definitely not a lack of support for this school. However you must realize that OSU is really the only thing in Stillwater, unless of course you are thinking…well hey Eskimo Joes is there. Yes it is, but I need to remind you that you can really only eat at "Stilwater's jumpin' juke joint" so many times before you want to throw up cheese fries. Anyways I love OSU , but the town is a little takcy at times and I want to go to a big city again. Stilwater can be annoying because the traffic is slow…yes what little traffic they have here is slow. People drive sooo slow its ridiculous. The vast majority of the locals are old people. However there is a good bit of white trash here, ya know the people without front teeth in wal-mart with their 10 kids(all of which are not wearing shoes)running around. Yes people such as that do live here. Its amzing to think so many people with PHD's live here as well. Kinda strange. But yes OSU is gret. Most of my teachers were good. I have had a few boring ones that did not get into the sunject much. But I guess that can happen anywhere. The classes are not that hard if you stay on top of things. Anyways OSU is great I would recommend it to anyone who wants a big school in a small town homey atmosphere with friendly people and the occasional white trash locals.
