Date: Oct 04 2003 Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time) Though I graduated in 1986, I can say without question, that attending Oral Roberts University was one of the best decisions of my life.I grew up in a family where faith was a minor consideration. My faith grew more during my ORU years than at any other time of my life. ORU gave me a solid foundation for life. It was a blessing to have Christian professors that cared for my professional growth as well as my spiritual growth. My life continues to be blessed with the life long friends I continue to stay in touch with from ORU. ORU students to know how to have good clean fun. I have a ton of wonderful memories and nothing of which to be ashamed or embarrassed. If you a looking for a university that is Christ-centered and will challenge you mentally, spiritually and even physically, ORU may be the place God has for you. ORU's whole person philosophy is unique-educating the whole person: spirit, mind and body.I have attended seminary and grad business school since ORU. ORU gave me a good foundation by insisting that I pursue excellence in all I do. Is ORU perfect? No, but I know of no university that is perfect. ORU will make you seek in everyway God's will for your life, God's purpose for you. You will also be challenged to pursue a life that is not selfish, but that is giving, after the example of Christ. It was at ORU I determined that I wanted to spend my career making a difference in the life of older adults as a Nursing Home Administrator. ORU was one of many building blocks used in preparing me for this career in which I am totally satisfied. If you want to make your life count, ORU could help prepare you for that adventure.
