Date: Jan 02 2004 Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time) I needed the character building that I received at Temple. I do wish that we had had faculty advisors that could have recognized my spiritual gifts and directed me in them. My degree has not helped me at all in getting or keeping a job. In some instances it has hindered me, because the school wasn't accredited when I attended. I thank God for what I learned, the good speakers I heard that challenged me to do more for Christ and the friendships that I made along the way. I do wish that when I attended that we had more options available for those that did not want to go into full time Christian work. I had always felt that God wanted to use me as a layman, which He has, but there was a lot that I could have learned to prepare me to work in a non-Christian environment. I do love Temple, and I thank God for allowing me to attend and get a good Christian based liberal arts education. I probably would not have gone to school anywhere else at the time. I am thankful also for the work-scholarship program that enabled me to pay my way.
