Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I recently completed my first year at UT as a transfer and my only regret is that I did not transfer here sooner. I am continually astounded at how much the university and the community has to offer. Many of the programs receive high national rankings and the professors are leaders in their field. My advice to those considering UT is to not be intimidated by the fact that is the largest university in the U.S. when in comes to student enrollment (50,000+). Personally I think the diversity and intelligence of the student body is one of the university's greatest strengths. In addition Austin is one of the best college towns there is - always something to do. Hook 'em Horns!
