Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of South Carolina is an excellent career choice and is a school that is highly admired. In my case psychology was a difficult field to pursue even after I had received my degree. Students should definetly look into internships during their summer months as well as other experiences that will allow them a chance to practice counseling skills. All students should look closely at graduate school, since it opens the door for your career by great feats. I recommend finding an academic advisor that truly cares about your career goals as well as you as a person, they will help steer you in the right direction. The more involved you are the better your experience…USC has a plethora of organizations and clubs…take advantage of these great opportunities while you have the chance. I will always be a GAMECOCK!
