Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
PennState is a very underated university and is just as competitive and advanced as any ivy-league type university. Its engineering program is very challenging and is always out to prove its self, so it demands a lot from its students. Some people take the slogan "Best Bang for its Buck" literally and think that you get a lot for the tuition but that knowledge only fulfills the tuition and still is not in comparison to the top engineering school (i.e CIT, UMich, UIUC, Cornell, MIT). However, it is just as good in teaching as the preceding universities: the students graduate ready to be engineers and be challenged. Also, this university shares a common factor with the aformentioned universities, the students are taught the theory so that they can adapt in a rapidly changing enivironment. This is a highly underrated university that is a top-ten university in my mind.
