Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
Lafayette was great. The only people who really state that the hate this school are those who either weren't socially involved or those who truly did not take advantage of all the opportunities that Lafayette had to offer. Things that were above expectation: faculty approachability, chances to do research and truly understand your major better, campus appearance, fraternity parties and off-campus social life and the intelligence of my peers. Those things that were below expectations: Easton, PA, the parking situation on "The Hill", the administrations lack of concern for what the students truly wanted and the close-minded attitude of the students. As I've said to people before…you shouldn't choose or discount a college merely on location. The Lehigh Valley is not desirable, but Lafayette was definitely the best four years of my life. Oh and the Lehigh-Lafayette rivalry is unmatched by schools our size. Don't list to these other fools who tout its negative attributes…all schools are what you make of them and, obviously, they made very little of Lafayette and, therefore, left hating the place instead of their poor decision making.
