Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
clubs: from the outing club where students go ice climbing to the muffin club, where students enjoy muffins and coffee!, everything in the middle is covered. if u have an interest, chances are theres a club for it. and if there isnt one, its just as easy as getting few people together and now you have your own official club.sports: the three top sports are mens hockey, mens hockey mens hockey! its a religion. intramural sports are great and theres always a team to participate in at any level. beware the riots at end of hockey season, red sox season. just one word of caution. during season, maine black bear fans and yankee fans beware.parties?: if you are the party goer, there are tons of opportunities, the greek system dominates the weekends, if thats not your thing, no sweat. there are tons of programs every weekend by the university, and people who want to do other things. sometimes it does seem to be overwhelming and a herd mentality on weekends to find the next party. boston is an hour away, and portsmouth is only so much fun! being 21 helps!academics: you can either be the regular \"next\" guy, or the go getter! there are ample opportunities to get involved in faculty research and three thumbs up for university funds for support!diversity: this is unh, in nh, in ne. the majority of the population is white. diversity is far and few in between , and seems forced. though the univ has been making a concerted effort in that direction.residential life: beautiful campus! dining is as good as it gets once you get used to it! ;-). the lottery system in junior year sucks though, but things are looking up. my freshman year was awesome. had a great ra, which impressed me enought to be an ra myself my junior year. theme housing is a plus. from the french floor, to the international housing to the music floor…things can be exciting. though on the flip side, floors can be clicquish.
