Stevens is not a place for people who expect to be hand-held throughout their studies. In the real world of professional and business life, for which you are preparing, you have to work harder and be smarter than your competitors to get anywhere (or even, just to stay in the game). Stevens' rigorous curriculum, broad-subject scope, and high workload almost to the point of impossibility (152 credits in 4 years for the engineering degree) elevates your abilities to take on the rigor and challenge of the world once you graduate. If your ideal college experience is a second womb as you may have had in high school, please, look elsewhere. If you want to be challenged and intellectually exercised so that you finish your 4 years able to make a real difference in solving the problems of the world come to Stevens.Stevens is a uniquely broad-based, far-ranging technical curriculum. Come here only if you want to be challenged and you are up to the challenge.
