Major: Chemical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
The biggest learning in the Chemical Engineering program is problem solving. The confidence to dive into a problem and work until you solve it. As far as what to do to prepare while you're in high school… all of the same stuff. Get good grades, be active, do well on your SATs. If you're going into Chemical Engineering, be prepared to work very hard. The rewards on the other end are worth it though.. you will be compensated well, and you will have many options available to you from teaching to pure engineering to grad school.
