Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Penn State truly is a great place. Some lecture halls can seat 400 people, however, most classes have a recitation period where you can ask TA's questions and become an active participant in class. I've heard that at some other Universities TA's done care if their students learn anything. All of the TA's I have had so far are awsome. Every single one cares about whether or not we get the material. The engineering school is top notch. All of my professors have been very knowedgeable and were eager to announce their office hours in case any of us needed help.Yep, Penn State is a party school. If you want to party on Thursday, Friday, hell, any night, you're bound to find some place to go to have a good time. If partying isn't your thing, Penn State offers a program called Late Nite Penn State to keep you occupied on the weekend.I know most people have a problem with the size of the school. I know when I first came here that was a big issue. However, it only took about a week to learn my way around campus. One thing that can be a hassle is walking, especially from East Halls. East Halls is where all of the Freshman go, and that's where I am now. I won't lie, some of the walks can be pretty long and ardous, especially through downpours. Even with all the walking involved Penn State is still an awsome school. I give it my highest recommendation. We are…Penn State.
