Overall, this place is aight. Is it pretty much what you make of it. Coming from out of state, I learned really quick that South Carolina is a state consisting of many laid back ppl and professors. Not really as big of a place as some ppl say it is… nowhere near a university of michigian or university of florida. if your thing is keg parties, this might be the place for you. however, if you are like me and like dancing parties better, you might want to head a little further south to fsu or another major party school. All in all, USC should have pretty much anything you're looking for. The university does a surprisingly well job of recruiting a large diversity of students, and succesful completion of the academic programs here will definately get you where you want to go out in the work force. Do not leave this place w/o talking to Lou Holtz!
