Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
UTSA is constantly growing and improving, and it's a decent place to get a degree, but it doesn't yet have all the elements to provide a well rounded social, academic and intellec. stimulating environment. Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad here, but most people commute, there isn't much going on on campus to create school spirit, the workload isn't very challenging (it seems that many of the students don't really care about learning anything here—rather, they just want to earn their degrees and get out) and there aren't very many ways to get involved and meet new people.Personally, I want a more challenging and intellectuly stimulating environment with a wider spectrum of activity to participate in. UTSA will someday be there, but it is still in its 'growing stage.'If you want to learn to "think" instead of just wade through a bunch of classes semester by semester, go to a better University, like UT-Austin, A&M or Rice.
