Although college bills itself as a Christian university, it takes this too far. Sometimes in class I feel like the Enlightenment never happened: Many of teachers are so absorbed with religion that they refuse to consider the viability of modern, scientifically grounded theories and widely accepted, proven facts. They rely too heavily on the Bible, which was compiled 2000+ years ago. There are a few teachers that don't try to fill you with religion, although they are in the minority. I feel that some of the teachers at this college really believe the earth is only 6000 years old! This university's faculty must become more progressive, modern, and scientifically accurate in its teachings or the college will not survive. Its students are going to work in a predominately secular world. Prepare those students. Don't take the student backwards.
