Well the information on this site is outdated and the sampling of statistics is too small to accurately represent FGCU. FGCU's strengths are small class sizes, great weather, inexpensive (instate at least) tuition, nice dorms, and several quality programs. Their weaknesses are poor adjunct profs (for your basic math and english classes), nonexistant campus life (but it definately has inproved since I was a freshman), lack of close employment for students (with exception to 1 mall and another in construction), and available parking. Some of their strongest programs include Finance, Marketing, Nursing, Education, and Biology/Biotechnology programs. Stay away from here if you want a general Management degree or Arts and Sciences people. This is a Conservative/Republican school without a Philosophy program so Kerry/Clinton voters may want to look elsewhere.
