Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
The professors here are great- they are approachable and really care about you. The school has great journalism and psychology programs. If you are not Church of Christ, however, I would not recommend going here. Most people came here already knowing tons of people so they weren't really looking to make friends. Also, if you're not used to Texas, don't come here. It was a culture shock. I thought in college people wore jeans and sweatshirts to class everyday, but here girls get dressed up every day. I have never seen so much make-up in my life. If you want an exciting city, or like trees and mountains, Abilene is not the town for you. So although the academic part has been good, I will probably transfer next year. I just don't fit in with the Texas or Church of Christ cultures. I miss diversity.
