I'm an aviation student from NYC at UND. Its program is outstanding, I must admit, but I'm not entirely satisfied w/ the college experience. Campus/city is small compared to other universities and social life isn't exactly the best. Night life is absolutely lacking. The one thing that does stand out from other schools is the binge drinking, though it does become a negative in the end. Most of students' social life revolves around alcohol and no more. Also, the weather here is very depressing. Winters are extremely cold hitting the -30s(F) some days.Even though my comments are mostly negative, I must state the positives as well. People here are very friendly. I was quite surprised with the friendliness found around the area. It's easy to make friends.
