Georgetown is clearly one of the best places to go for a rewarding and exciting undergraduate experience. The combination of superior academics (with a focus on the undergraduate experience), a location which is the best of all worlds (great campus, college town, and fabulous city), a bright and interesting student body, and dedicated and accomplished faculty (who teach undergrads) makes Georgetown hard to beat. The focus is on learning and service, character development, and because everyone gets in to top ranked graduate programs, competition between students is minimal. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am about this place. People often compare Georgetown to UPenn, Duke, Columbia, Harvard, Yale—these places can't compare to Georgetown's UNDERGRADUATE experience because of their focus on graduate students—and the DC location provides the unique opportunity of bringing the classroom learning to life.
