The best aspect of the college is that it is really small and you get to know everyone, which really makes for a good experience. The professors are generally pretty nice and approachable. Academically, the school isn't great but it's not bad either. Having to take a few hours of Theology and Ethics is something unique, and it was pretty interesting. The student body is more in touch with their spirituality because of the Theology classes. I actually like the location (Seguin), because you seem to be a small distance away from a lot of different things: San Antonio, Austin, tubing in New Braunfels, the Gulf Coast isn't far, Mexico isn't far. There's a lot of different weekend getaways. Seguin also has the best Tex-Mex I've ever had, and the world's largest pecan.

If I had it all to do over again, I'd go to a school with a big-time sports program, so that I'd have a college team to cheer for, but TLU certainly wasn't bad.
