Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from CWRU in 02 with double majors in economics and English and a photography minor. I'm absolutely positive I would not have been as happy anywhere else. Even having grown up in Seattle, it took a while to adjust to Cleveland, but it was worth it.Yes, it's hard. But if it were easy, it would not be a useful or worthwhile education. Yes, you will have to work hard, even if you are brilliant. But this will make a huge difference when you go to graduate school/professional school or are in the workplace. The standards professors set are very high and I really appreciate it.I'm in graduate school now at Berkeley and most of the people in my program feel (1) overwhelmed by the workload and (2) overwhelmed by the amount of individual study-time necessary to do well. Neither of these applies to me, and I believe that is because of my undergraduate education. Case teaches you to work hard, have high standards and be practical. My roommate here is an undergrad, and I must say I think my education was much more rigorous and useful than hers, rankings aside.
