I feel that you should not attend Case if you are not looking to study pre-med or Engineering related subjects. I might also include business because the department is becoming quite popular. The other departments have high quality staff. I have experienced some amazing coursework. The main flaw with Case is that there is a lack of respect for students in the fields outside of science. I have heard things like EVERYTHING (internship opportunities, guest speakers, etc.) focuses on the engineering aspect of Case students. It was a big disappointment because I am satisfied with my classes and extremely satisfied with my professors. The social life at Case is exactly what you expect and exactly what you don't expect. Yes, there are hundreds of "computer nerds" sitting on their computers at all hours of the day. People study at our 24-hour library- spending the night there is very common. BUT there is also a very social side of Case. If you become involved in sororities/frat., there is a huge social life. Even if you don't join, you can still be involved in their events. If you're looking into engineering, pre-med, business, and music, Case is a wonderful choice. If you're not, make sure to talk to more students at Case to find out whether you think you'll fit in.
