Date: Apr 04 2006 Major: PreLaw and Legal (This Major's Salary over time) Those of you reading these comments should not be turned off to Bing because of the negative comments. Is Bing the best school in the world? Of course not. But it is a good school and you can easily have a very enjoyable college experience there. I and many of my friends did. The problem—and the reason for many of these negative comments—is that many people are college-snobs and/or still feeling bad that they could not afford a private college. Many complain about being in Binghamton and say there is nothing to do. What do college kids do? Bars, restaurants, movie theaters—this is what kids do and the Binghamton area has them! How many of you going to NYU or Columbia actually go to museums or Broadway shows? Give me a break. You know these boards attract those who are unhappy, more so than those who are happy. It is human nature. Binghamton is a great value. Don't go there with a closed mind, thinking you will hate it. There are all kinds of people there and as in all college situations, once you find your niche, you will enjoy it and be happy. I am proud to have gone to Bing and it is a much more enjoyable memory for me than my graduate years at an Ivy league school.
