Boston University

I feel like the BU reputation in Boston isn't the strongest due to the fact that it is surrounded by other great institutions (Harvard, MIT, Tufts, etc.). However, in NY, the BU reputation is great. I went on many interviews in which the recruiter or person intervieiwing me said "well we know you're smart if you went to BU…". I had no idea. Friends also tell me that the BU name is great to have on your resume in the south and in Cali. I guess it pays to go to a big name, name brand school that everyone has heard of.
