Before you decide to attend Rollins College, think of what you want to major in. A lot of students transfer out because of the lack of majors (28 to be exact). Do not come for business b/c it is non-existant in the undergraduate program. Crummer, however, is excellent for your MBA.

The social life here is well…poor. Due to the size and facilities provided there is not much to do at night and on weekends. The surrounding area closes around 6 and campus facilities like the GYM close at 10!! Most of the students empty out on weekends. Greek Life is HUGE!!! All social life revolves around the Frat Parties. Every one is the same, which consist of drinking in the rooms. Be warned that the social life is lacking!

If you love sports, then stay away! Sporting events are poorly attended for both men and women. An excellent turnout for any sport is around 80 people. Though the avg. attendance is around 45. Too bad because the athletic teams are excellent for a DII school.

Dining options are limited to three locations. Let me stress that the on campus food is very limited and often repeats itself. I will say, however, that at least it is of utmost quality most of the time.

I have meet some amazing people here at Rollins. Granted a lot of the people I stay away from because of their snooty attitudes. Students come to Rollins with the notion of sliding through without joining clubs or contributing anyway to the college. What a shame!

Rollins College is perfect for those who do not mind quiet nights and weekends, indifference to school spirit and unity, beautiful facilities, strong programs in the arts, and smaller schools.

I am happy I have spent my first year here.
