This is the biggest load of crap i have ever heard, this is so racist…USF has pleanty of things to do for white students, entertainment and other activites are not geared to any single race, just as many white people show up to events as the african american students, next time OPEN UR EYES AND LOOK AROUND! |
Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
Let me start with these blanket statements: 1. If you're looking for the typical 'college experience' do not attend USF. 2. If you're looking for a college to attend strictly for class purposes only, then attend USF. Below is why I feel this way:1. USF is anything but a typical four-year university. There is not a lot of tradition at this school, and there isn't an over abudance of school spirit. The people that go here, both those that live on campus and those that commute, are not friendly, outgoing people for the most part. If you don't come here with a click of people, you might as well forget having a social life, unless you're the village slut. The facilities for living on campus are less than desirable. The people that maintain these facilities probably couldn't put together an entire sentence in English (this is America, welcome!) and know nothing about basic handy work, or cleaning. As for the resident coordinators; I'm twenty years old, I don't need another mom! In a recent incident, a fire drill went on at our on campus apartment. Because my roommates and I did not exit the building in a quick enough fashion, I was told I was getting a court date to go plead my case… that's funny. I have enough evidence in my favor to make all of the people involved look like complete fools as if they didn't already. As to the resident coordinator that night: you should be glad there was a police officer there that night… learn some manners, and maybe you'll find some friends! As for campus activities, if you aren't a minority you won't be interested. 99.9% of the campus activities at this school cater strictly to the african american population at this school (which is suprisingly large). I know I can't complain much about this because I'm not involved in any of the campus clubs, I only play sports. However, I've got to believe there are some white people helping to make the decisions so I can't help but wonder, W.T.F.?! If you plan on living on campus and eating on campus you're faced with two choices: 1. Become anorexic 2. expect to gain more weight than you ever have in your life… the food here is absolutely terrible. I hope you can afford to eat of campus, or you can afford to consume mass quantities of calories!2. If you just want to attend a four-year university in Florida, and you aren't really interested in college-type activities, then I recommend this school. If you live off-campus and have a seperate life away from USF then you'll be okay. The teaching staff at this school is the one thing I can't complain about… if you can just attend classes then I think you'll find Tampa to be an interesting city (as long as you're over 21 years old). I'm a native Floridian and I do enjoy being in the Tampa area… I'm just not at all pleased with living at USF. I'll be moving off campus next semester. So if you plan on attending USF in the future, good luck, especially if you plan on living on-campus. I hope you can deal with a staff that doesn't speak english and has an I.Q. that is just above the mental retardation level. I hope you can deal with random idiots screaming in the streets at 3 in the morning when you have class in 5-6 hours. And most of all, I hope you can deal with the rudest group of people per capita…
