Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
The academic programs are very good, the faculty is amazingly accessible. Most people are easy to approach and friendly. Also, most students are from either PA or NJ. There is definitely a lack of multicultural interaction, though. I have found that many fellow students have simply never been exposed to other races, classes and cultures. This makes them appear to be close-minded at first, when in fact they have simply never imagined a difference in opinions/values/religion. It seems the root of this problem is a lack of exposure, not intentionally offensive behavior or close-mindedness (for the most part). Also, there is a sense of entitlement which sometimes leads to arrogance and snooty behavior.
