I was a typical 3.9 GPA HS student looking for a pre-med program with average social distractions. I visited all major schools in Texas and picked UTSA for its value to me. I love the Honors College and the personal relationships I have acquired with my major faculty. I doubt I would have this at UT Austin, A & M or Baylor. The UT Medical school is close by. The campus is beautiful and the library is very pleasant and comfortable to use. The housing is a lot better here than Austin or College Station. I came here with 10 friends from HS and that was a good idea. I thought long and hard about my education and UTSA is a diamond in the rough or should I say ready to be showcased.
