Plattsburgh was a great school. It cold get cold in the winter, but if you are into snowboarding and outdoor activities, it is great. Plattsburgh itself is a small town but offers many bars/shops/social life for a place its size. If you get sick of the area, Montreal is only an hour away. The classes were average, not too hard, not too easy. It is hard to fail at Plattsburgh. There were people that complained about social life, but those people were anti-social losers that made no attempt to leave their rooms.
