Date: Jun 18 2007 Major: School of Information (This Major's Salary over time) I signed up expecting to learn more about the IT field while earning my undergraduate degree. I transferred in 2 years of credits from another school so I already had a background and started off in the "Harder" classes at Capella. I found the school to simply give you a lot of busy work to show that you logged on and discussed topics. The assignments were not hard and you could probably pass them with minimal effort. I have been getting A's in all of my classes for the last couple of quarters but haven't learned anything. I feel that I have totally wasted several thousand dollars thus far and do not plan on wasting anymore at Capella. I will cut my losses before they amount to more than I would like to waste. When people ask where I am going to school I tell them Capella, EVERYONE responds, "Where's that?" No one including employers has ever heard of the school, leaving me to wonder if my money would be better spent at a school someone has actually heard of. I want my degree but I don't like the feeling that I am simply "Paying for a degree" and not getting an education.
