Major: School of Information (This Major's Salary over time)
I am an out-of-state student and love Rutgers. I absolutely love the fact that Rutgers has 4 campuses and classes with over 300+ people. It makes me feel good when I am able to distinguish myself from all the other students. Rutgers offers a wide array of majors and minors, although I am slightly disappointed with the Information Technology major. The major seems a little watered down and not too specific. I feel that there are other colleges out there that have better IT major courses. While this is my only slight disappointment, I love the faculty. They always hold office hours and are very easy to approach. The city life around the university is also superb. I come from a very small town in Central Virginia, and the city around the New Brunswick campus is very alive. There is always stuff to do and places to hang out. You can virtually walk anywhere you want without having to own a car.If you are interested in an extremely large campus and classes, I highly recommend you attend Rutgers.
