I'm a senior at FSU and to be completely honest, I'm happy I'm graduating in exactly a semester. I've had my fair share of ups and downs, but I suppose that's life. In all seriousness, college is what you make of it. About 50% of my experience was full of friendships, laughter, and in general fun.. the other 50% were the kind of life experiences that sucked while you were going through them, but realistically it's shaped me as a person more than I'd like to admit (oops. just did..). It's easy to write someplace off by saying "It sucked" because it wasn't easy… I'm not doing it. A university is a university. Would I have changed things about my experience? Yes. Would I give up the things I have learned? Not really.Life in general isn't easy, and all the crap you go through (professors being difficult, lack of friendly people) just help to further prepare you for the proverbial 'real world.'So yeah, personally? I really did not like Florida State. I'm not into the night life, I actually have never set foot in a bar/club my entire time going here. I've made some friends and met some people who turned out to be not who I thought they were. But realistically? It was a great experience.
