I could not believe all the negative reviews about Columbia, for I too had a horrible experience here. Fortunately, I got out my senior year even though I maintained a 3.9 GPA. It is true, the school campus is dangerous, the students are SNOBS, and the administration will slam the door in your face. This is especially true of the Provost Office and the Ombuds Office. They really go out of their way to demonstrate how little they value education here. However, I think the students are the worst of all. Rich, elite, snobby and not so bright. I'm so grateful I transferred, even though I lost credits and an entire year. I would be ashamed to have a degree from Columbia!

Hi, I reviewed your critique on Columbia University, and I was curious what made you transfer to another school from Columbia. Actually, I'm also a transfer student accepted to Columbia and Upenn, and still don't know which school is the best choice for me. I hope if you can give me some good advice about transferring to Columbia.
