If you want your college experience to be memorable in a good way - WHICH YOU SHOULD - then seriously take a pass on UC. Just about everything at UC is half ass, but UC and Cincinnatians in general don't know this. When you finally realize who goes to UC it's more or less

Cincinnati's 13th Grade.

Social circles revolve around Cincinnati area high schools, and in the Cincinnati mindset, high school is more important than college. UC is what Cincinnati HS kids do when their golden years are over and the next step in life is a Drees Home in Mason.

UC is suffering from an enormous budget defecit and it shows in how "on-edge" UC administrators behave (they're all afriad of losing their jobs). UC is not a university that places students first. UC places the careers of it's administrators first, and students are left dealing with the riff-raff. Just pay your tuition and shut up and UC will love ya.

Just for the record, I completely disagree. Yes, there was a budget cutback this year,but this happened at any state universities. UC, especially for instate, is a steal.

Moreover, the coop program is fabulous.

In addition, every staff member that I have encountered has been nice and helpful. Frankly, I don't know what this poster has been drinking.

Finally, I attended a private school before coming to UC. If this poster thinks UC is very money oriented, he should see what happens at private schools. There they nickel and dime you to death!

Here is a good example of what was said by another poster.. You get some good, smart kids and you get some idiots who look at a glass as half empty without appreciating the good things that he has.

This poster is ignorant. This does NOT describe UC in any way shape or form. Ive been here almost 2 years and have enjoyed the vast majority of my prof's.
