Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
MTU did an excellent job of preparing me for handling the real world. They teach you how to approach problems, and apply your knowledge and experience to find solutions.I do wish that the broad base courses taken early in the academic career were more realistic to what engineers in the field do—I might have chosen another field.Still, I have no complaints—I have a great job, great family (met my spouse at Tech), and many blessings.
