Date: Jun 09 2008 Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time) Guys u should really read this response regardless of where u go, this is a real response from my first post."Wake up kids. Undergrads are the basics of college, not matter where you get it. 3.2GPA is fine from any scool to get into a decent grad school; unless of course you're going for Harvard, Yale, etc. Schools are businesses first and foremost (you Emory people should know that by now). I employ graduates from Emory, KSU, and GT. The guys from Emory and GT are no better in any area than the kids from KSU. It all comes down to the student. Emory is overpriced, and you're paying for a label to go along with what you as an individual decided to put in workwise. You should study, enoy life, and get a decent education by working hard. The school is just a label. Mark my words, when you get out in the real world people don't give a shit where your undergrad is from as long as you're smart. I throw you up in front of a whiteboard and ask you to solve a problem and you can't, your degree is useless no matter where it's from. Get smart now and quit believing the hype about Emory being some special school"I mean I couldn't have put it any better!
