Moving
off campus before junior year proved to be my best
move at Loyola! If you really want to experience
everything the school offers, move out of the dorms.
The
school's administration tends to heavily stifle the student body on
campus. While I enjoyed my first two years at
school it was not until moving out the dorms that
I began to experience what the school truly has to
offer. Having to balance school with the added responsibilities
of living off campus truly made me the embrace the
work hard/play hard mentality that permeates the student body.
It was my experience that those students living off campus
become more of a college community because they experience
more of an independent college experience together.
