Basically, this university is crap. Do not support this place. Unless you basically can go here for free, do not even consider it. Most here are NYU and Columbia rejects while some are here because Pace offered a substantial amount of money to them (thats my story) but even with scholarships and aid, in the end, your coming out of here with a huge amount of loans and a crap education.

The cafeteria workers are extremely rude and the food is disgusting and way overpriced. Most of the professors are "adjunct instructors" so don't have that much credibility. Classes are almost always cancelled. I'm not complaining about a cancelled class every now and then, but when your doing the math and realizing the money that is going to waste because of the frequently cancelled classes, you start to see a problem.

The dorms are awful. If you are going to dorm, I recommend John Street or St. George in Brooklyn. Maria Tower's are terrible and infested with vermon, i've been hearing.

The only problem with John Street is that Laundry is $2 per load, both for washing and drying. For someone like me with alot of clothes, you're paying about $12 a week just to do your laundry.

The Business Program here is quite good and nationally recognized as highly-ranked, but any another major, your wasting your money. This school is not known for a strong Liberal Arts program, so don't waste your time.

Again, I regret coming here more than anything. I knew the school wasn't all that in the first place, but thought it's awesome location in the city would make up for it. I was wrong. NYC is a great place to be but absolutely not worth it if the school is making you miserable.

Overall, don't come here just because you want to be in the city. You have plenty of time to live here after college, but college is NOW.

I would suggest only coming here if you A.) Were offered excellent financial aid B.) Majoring in Business C.) Planning to do well here for a couple of semesters and transfer to NYU or Columbia.

This is not the place you want to spend what is supposed to be the best 4 years of your life. There is no campus, no college atmosphere…nobody cares about learning and all people do is go to wicked sketchy bars. Also, being in the Financial District of NYC may be great for business majors, but everything closes early and the nightlife is not great especially for a college student. You have to go out of your way to have a good time in the city unless Wall Street excites you.

Just plz save yourself the pain and suffering and don't come here. I know it's NYC and you think you'll love it .But you will regret it. I'm transferring immediately.
