Date: Jan 05 2009 Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time) During the four years that I was a Harding University (81-85) all, and I mean ALL I could think about was how much I wanted OUT of there. I thouht it was so concervative, so confinining, strict, etc… And then I graduated & moved on to the "real world." It would take a book to tell what all has happened to me since those days, but I will tell you this: The VERY BEST days of my life were those days spent at Harding. Oh, what I wouldn't give to just be able to go back for even a day to a place where I could find someone to pray with or a professor with true wisdom and a love of God & willingness to help me find my way through this hell we call Earth. Those four years were the closest to being a part of what is truly "The Kingdom of God" in the sense that we were in the midst of so many who were moving in the same direction with a love of God. Yeah, we were human and everyone was full of sin- we are all in the flesh. But it was there that I was surrounded by more people in one place and time who I believe were striving toward the same ultimate goal of achieving both wisdom and closeness with God that will be an everlasting prize when all of this is over.
