This school was one of the worst decisions i could have made. I went here for my first semester and transfered right at second semester. It's tiny and geared only towards one type of person- the snobby, rich, arrogant, conservative. There is absolutely nothing to do on the weekend, most everyone heads to the University of Minnesota campus on the weekend, which costs money and time to get there. Also The University isn't much better with it's social life, they have "frat row" which is a place just as awful as you could imagine. My academic advisor couldn't have cared less about me or have been less help. My classes were not nearly as challenging as i was hoping they would be. Their extra curricular activities are lacking and there is very little focus on political/social/service involvement. There is no escaping campus either, St. Thomas is in a quiet little (and may i mention cold) suburb in St. Paul. There is very little in walking distance. All in all it is claustrophobic and awful. Nearly every person i know from St. Thomas is planning on leaving and/or hates it there.

This is a quote from somebody who knows multiple people who went to St. Thomas:

Wow, they must have a great tour our something because everyone i know that went there was all pumped to go and now hates it and is planning on leaving
don't let the tour fool you. St. Thomas forms only two types of people 1. bitter people who hate their school 2. dumb jocks who don't know any better.
