I came here for sports, played for 4 years and left. If not for the sports, I would have never gone here. I read the previos reviews and I have to disagree with the negative ones. You people that complain about the school focusing on certain majors more than others should have never gone to UNH in the first place. You should have gone some where with a strong program in what you wanted. As for the price, you people that say
its expensive if your out of state
are stupid, ITS A PRIVATE SCHOOL and costs the same to in-state or out-state residents. Granted unless you are social, you will be very lonely here, but that is part of college (growing a pair and talking to people). At UNH you pay a bunch of a money and they hand you a degree, very little effort is required no matter what major you are. The new president is helping the place a lot, but all he or the place cares about is money. For a non-profit organization, that place is sure trying to milk the kids for every last dime.

Pros- sports, new facilities, downtown New Haven, small amount of people so you can build relationships with teachers

Cons- price, programs quality, school prestige, parking, food, dorms, paying extra for just about every thing, over priced lab fees, campus police this they are gods, many teachers have no real world exp. and the ones that do worked at crappy places, oh and the athletic department is in its own seperate universe out to make money off students any way possible.
