Major: Chemistry (This Major's Salary over time)
I have been attending UCD now for three years. I came in with mediocre grades and being out of school for a year. I did not honestly think I would be getting into the school. I was accepted the admissions department takes into account other experiences in life, they definitely go above and beyond. As of now I have about a 3.5. Classes are semi challenging but I was able to absorb and retain a lot of the knowledge. Very great campus versus other schools in Colorado, i.e. CU Boulder, CSU, DU. Which tend to all have "Paris Hiltons". This is a commuter campus so there tends to be a more mature crowd who are active working individuals. Which leads to more focus on studying. Also a GREAT commute, very quick and easy. If you dorm everything is at your doorstep. The only complaint I have is the lack of social activity. I am by no means a party animal. Some of the students tend to keep to themselves. That was not a huge issue for me though. Great campus, great education, great curriculum. Do not feel discouraged to apply here if you did not have so hot of grades, or a GED. Admissions office is very dedicated to researching everything and not just focusing on one aspect of the application.
