UM
was not one of my top choices, but I'm really
happy that I came here. When you visit, the campus
is gorgeous, and everyone here is very friendly and helpful.
There are plenty of interesting classes, and all of my
professors have been around to talk and for help in
office hours. The student activities are great, and Miami is
a great city for cultural events and the beaches are
a nice way to relax. The only negatives I can
think of are the excessive partying at clubs on the
weekends, and that there are a lot of students who
could care less about anything BUT partying. But, you'll find
this at every college, and overall—visit! It's a great school,
and if you take advantage of all of the opportunities
available here, there's no doubt you'll have a great four
years. I'm definitely coming back next year!
