First of all, I think the student who posted the negative comment is talking about Carroll in Wisconsin, given the reference to going to UW.My experience has been awesome. Prep for pre-med is great; if you were enrolled in a challenging high school curriculum and are ready to work, you'll be prepared. People are friendly, and you'll get personal attention from people who care. Also, get involved in extra-curricular activities. Winters are long and cold, and you'll need friends!
