I transfered here from Emory University in Atlanta. I do have to say that the quality of the education isn't as good as it could be at RN, but over all it's a pretty good school. Newark gets a bad wrap because of it's past crime statistics but the city has improved dramatically within the past 5 years. The part of town that the university is in is probably the safest place in Newark. Those who are apprehensive about coming here due to Newark's reputation shouldn't worry too much about it. Also keep in mind the added bonus of being a 20 minute train ride away from New York City. If you can't find something to do in Newark, there is ALWAYS something to do in NYC. Plenty of job opportunities there too.
