Why is it that most of the things you claim are not true? First a degree from NDSU is fine as it is known and accredited. Second, most classes are not taught by a TA. Third, there are harder classes, you just need to find and take them. And all of the classes I have taken, the professor has encouraged discussion. The building did not collapse, it had a partial collapse. Those supervising the project graduated from the University of Minnesota, not NDSU. That is a blatant lie about the posters, I have a friend on student government that discussed the whole thing and it was nothing like you described. You simply have to get permission to put up posters, as the pro lifers did. And the posters were not put everywhere, it was a few places. Its called freedom of speech. The freezes are not because of direct budgeting issues, its because of unanticipated growth and expenses.Next time provide something truthful. |
I agree with the first responder. First of all the campus is beautiful with all the old architecture that tree lined streets. Second of all, NDSU is an accredited college and a Research one institution in its chemistry research and genetics. The Polymers and coatings (Chemistry) works directly with the US Navy. The business school is top notch and of course agriculture is known the world over. Depending on which classes you take they can be difficult, however the only TA's and Master students instructing classes are at the 100 level standing. It is against ND board of higher education to allow TA's and Master students to teach any others. |
Dude you are a n00b. |
Dude you are a n00b. How did you even type this so called "review"? With your n00by face? I can, and will own you in a game of water polo, just because your mommy could only afford a chance at ndsu (a very wasted effort) then that doesn't mean you can whine and moan like you do about everything else in your life. I mean, just look at your facebook! Its littered with bad words and naughty pictures. What an alien. I wonder what H.P. Lovecraft would say if he were alive today… Ya n00b! |
I think all the responders to this review just get very offended because it is so true. lol NDSU is a joke. |
Scholastically speaking, NDSU is fine, yes; there are some very good professors, especially in the higher level classes and in the humanities. It's just also North Dakotan. Education is not a big priority here. A lot of people don't take it very seriously, and yeah, sadly, there's a conservative bias. Again, it's ND. Where did you think you were going to school? San Francisco? The degree is worth something, but come on, most middle class people here to go college because their parents expect them to. |
You have provided a very good review about this university which will be very much have helpful to the students who are willing to study there. I always do survey on https://www.australian-writings.org/ blogs to know which university or institution is best for my course completion. Recently I found your blog and like so helpful to me. |
Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
First of all, NDSU tries really hard to seem like a big successful University. It is not. A degree from NDSU is pretty much nothing…I mean you could still get a job somewhere with it, but don't expect to be on the same level of knowledge with people who went to a REAL university. NDSU teaches nothing. The classes classified as "hard" are only hard because of the amount of things they ask you to do, not the amount of actual thought put into it. Most of the classes are taught by TAs or master students, and the actual professors never encourage class discussions. The campus is ugly. Just this Christmas one of the buildings on campus collapsed into a near-by construction hole…(the engineer planning the construction must have gotten their degree at NDSU). Also, if your somewhat of a liberal, you would HATE it here. The school allows pro-life posters to be hung EVERYWHERE, and if you ask if you can hang a pro-choice one, they wont let you. The school is currently in a spending and hiring freeze because it doesn't know how to budget money. Overall, I strongly discourage coming here if you like warm weather, a pretty campus, are somewhat of a democrat, or want a real education.
